Dominica is holding its annual Dive Fest from July 2-10 to highlight the country's renowned dive product. Free scuba and snorkelling sessions from the Dominican Water Sports Association, a whale and dolphin safari and Carib canoe races are among activities planned.

Elite Island Resorts has added Long Bay Beach Resort and Villas on Tortola to its luxury Caribbean portfolio. It is overseeing the management and marketing of the 154-room property. Prices start at $381 per room per night for all-inclusive accommodation.

Grand Cayman marriott refurbishment

Work will begin this month on an extensive refurbishment programme to update all 309 rooms, lobby and exterior at the Grand Cayman Marriott. Each guest floor will be temporarily closed during the restoration, which is scheduled to be finished in November.

Fred Olsen Cruise Lines is offering early booking discounts of up to 40% on Caribbean cruises on its ship Braemar for winter 2004/05. A 15-night all-inclusive cruise from Dover in November is on offer at [pounds sterling]1,179 per person - a saving of [pounds sterling]786 - if booked before July 31.

luxury complex for anguilla

Tenemos Anguilla, a luxury complex including a 97-room hotel and spa, championship golf course and 16 ocean-front villas, is due to open on Anguilla in 2006. Developed by St Regis Hotels and Resorts, along with the Anguillan government and Flag Luxury Properties, the resort will cover 286 acres.

free wedding package at elegant hotels

The Elegant Hotels Group is offering its Ultimate Wedding Package for free at Crystal Cove, Turtle Beach Resort, Tamarind Cove and the Colony Club on Barbados in June and September. The package applies to stays of more than seven nights and includes the ceremony and location decoration.

Caribbean islands club offers discounts

Specialist operator Caribbean Islands Club is offering 15% discount off villa holidays on specific properties on Virgin Gorda in the British Virgin Islands. Bookings must be made before June.
